Coming Soon: Publishing Peace Ministries

A new magnificent organization arises from the chaos of a changing world. They are small now, but they are destined to do great things. They are Publishing Peace Ministries.

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”

Isaiah 52:7 ESV

PPM is a Christian organization based around ministry to teenagers, run by teenagers. It is built to address common problems teens face today by way of entertainment and resources. They teach lessons and present solutions and answers through podcast, writing, and YouTube, as well as provide enjoyable entertainment and comedy.

This organization was founded by Bjorn, a very insightful fellow, full of infinite wisdom and knowledge. He longed to help teenagers and bring them to Christ, so he presented a plan that would reach across the globe. He and Karleigh Provost took control of entertainment, YouTube, and Podcast, with the amazing Elisha McFarland as head of writing. Yes, you heard me right. Elisha McFarland.

Among the writing team we have a few other familiar faces including Karl Bickerstaff and our very own Tobias Hrothgar.

Publishing Peace is a Christian ministry devoted to helping teens find joy in their Savior. Far too often, youth neglect Christianity as just another set of rules: another boring routine just so God won’t send them to Hell. We at Publishing Peace believe our relationship with the Lord is so much more: it is the ultimate and only source of true joy. Our mission is to share this passion with our peers, through deep and challenging teaching, fun and engaging entertainment, and zealous and loving worship.

Here are the goals of this organization, summed up by Elisha McFarland:

1: We want to see a radical shift in today’s teens, moving the focus from the world and “fake” Christianity to real, hardcore life under Christ.

2: We want to provide solid, legitimate entertainment that isn’t like the crap in today’s Christian media world.

3: We want to use media and writing to do this.

4: We want to help others grow and mature the right way through solid, Biblical truth.

5: Finally, we want to be a teen-focused, teen-run, gospel-oriented ministry

  1. […] Follow me for more book reviews (up next: The Hunger Games) and like this post. Also, share my blog while you’re at it. I could use more followers if I’m to at least stay ahead of Bickerstaff in the race for followers. I don’t want to see the smug look on his face if he wins. Follow us on social media (icons are in the sidebar) and make sure to donate to Publishing Peace Ministries. […]
